This gathering will bring together leading scientists and policymakers to discuss how the profound and accelerating changes in the Arctic and Antarctic are reshaping Europe’s climate, coastlines, and communities — and to explore the specific policy responses required. This event is informed by the latest research from four European Union-funded projects — PolarRES, CRiceS, PROTECT, and OCEAN ICE — and aims to foster dialogue between the scientific community and decision-makers to support evidence-based, forward-looking climate policy at both European and global levels.
