Climate Coffees starting again in September 2023

Climate Coffees are starting off their new series on 21 September!

#climatecoffees are organized by the Horizon Europe project OCEAN:ICE, the Danish Meteorological Institute and the European Climate Research Alliance. They are short (circa 40 min: 20 min talk + 20 min Q&A), relaxed meetings for scientists to share ideas, discuss methods and communicate new results. Speakers of all levels of seniority are welcome and we especially encourage early-career scientists to become a speaker. The Coffees are an exciting opportunity for scientists to build a network and disseminate recent results, peer-to-peer. We invite researchers from across the climate science community to join us for this series of regular online knowledge exchange events.

Find the dates and register for each Climate Coffee session here:

  1. 21/9/2023 "Monitoring ice shelf vulnerability at both poles from multiple sensor remote sensing data" with Romain Millan:

  2. 16/11/2023 "An experiment in Climate Service portability: implementing a Danish Climate Atlas in Ghana" with Mark Payne:

  3. 7/12/2023 "Slowdown of Antarctic Bottom Water export driven by climatic wind and sea-ice changes" with Shenjie Zhou:

Would you be interested in being a speaker in 2024?
