SIOS is seeking a new Remote Sensing Officer for its office in Longyearbyen, Svalbard!

If you are an expert in remote sensing and/or Earth observation and are ready for a life in the Arctic – combining stunning nature and great cultural and social possibilities in town – this may be the perfect position for you!

You would be part of an international team at the SIOS Knowledge Centre, coordinate the remote sensing services, contribute to the capacity building to study Earth system science in the Arctic and represent SIOS at international conferences and meetings with space agencies.
